Rigenerare gli stereotipi della sostenibilità: giocare o dovere?

Sostenibilità e rigenerazione spesso sono vittime di ragionamenti stereotipati che possono, a mio avviso, riassumersi in: sostenibilità come dovere, educazione dei giovani come elemento vincolante, sostenibilità come valore riformista. Proviamo ora a "mischiare le carte", ripartiamo da un vecchio adagio di Marshall Mc Luhan che ricordava che coloro che fanno distinzione fra intrattenimento ed educazione forse non sanno che l'educazione deve essere divertente e il divertimento deve essere educativo. Nella nostra esperienza, fare gare con percorsi sensoriali (toccare, annusare, ascoltare, guardare) per i bambini delle scuole elementari è un ottimo modo per parlare di riciclo, recupero e rigenerazione!
Lo stereotipo dell'attenzione all'ambiente come tema antimodernista (ovvero che non vede nello sviluppo tecnologico una possibilità) è altrettanto superato: in un mondo in movimento l'unico errore certo è quello di rimanere solamente fermi. Il punto torna al merito delle questioni: cosa cambiare, cosa conservare e cosa rinnovare! Infine vorremmo parlare di dovere e necessità, entrambi importanti e centrali nel discorso sulla sostenibilità, ma forse dimentichiamo che le rivoluzioni profonde nascono sempre dall'allegria! La rigenerazione ed il riutilizzo sono temi troppo importanti per essere lasciati alle persone tristi!

Regenerate the stereotypes of sustainability: play or duty?

Sustainability and regeneration are often victims of stereotypical reasoning that can, in my opinion, summarized as: sustainability as a duty, education of young people as a binding, sustainability as a reformist value.
Let us now try to "shuffle", we start from an old adage that Marshall McLuhan pointed out that those who make a distinction between entertainment and education may not know that education should be fun and fun should be educational. In our experience, doing races with sensory pathways (touch, smell, hear, watch) for primary school children is a great way to talk about recycling, recovery and regeneration!
The stereotype of attention to the environment as a theme anti-modernist (or which does not see a possibility in the technological development) is also passed: in a world in motion the only error is certain to remain standing only.
The point on the back of the issues: what to change, what to keep and what to renew! Finally we would like to talk about duty and necessity, both important and central in the discourse on sustainability, but perhaps we forget that deep revolutions are always born by happiness! Regeneration and reuse are issues too important to be left to sad people!
